Families & Sports Fans!
Welcome to the Athletic Booster Club and its program of support for all of the exciting and competitive athletic activities and games at Plainfield East High School! We are the newest high school developing our very own academic and athletic traditions, with a high level of school spirit and involvement.
The Athletic Boosters would like to extend a welcome to all PEHS students, parents and families.
The PEHS Athletic Booster Club is a volunteer group of interested parents, which supports all athletic related activities within an environment that promotes leadership, team spirit, and sportsmanship, both in the classroom and at athletic events. We do this by providing financial support to athletic teams that cannot be provided through normal school channels. Support is provided to the school for all eligible groups on an equitable basis, including all girls and boys teams, J.V. and Varsity alike.
PEHS Families: We look forward to new members and new projects this year. We will be asking for your help and support throughout the year during our fundraising activities, but a significant portion of our funds comes from Booster Club memberships. The more funds generated through memberships the less additional fundraising is needed. Our goal is 100% membership and representation of all our athletes and their families in the Booster Club. Consider joining and supporting your children and all our athletes at PEHS as a Booster Club member. A family membership is only $25.
Parental involvement is the key to establishing a tradition of successful support provided by the Booster Club. In our very first year, with strong parent and community support, we have been fortunate to assist Plainfield East High School physically and financially, contributing over $35,000 in the last 3 years, and we thank all those individuals who have donated their time, talent, and resources for our school.
The PEHS Booster Club is a good way to get involved with the PEHS students, staff, and parents. Boosters are not just fund raisers, we are fun raisers. Our "fun" comes from the boosting and support and social activities.
We hope you will become an active member of the Boosters and will share in the support we offer to the athletics program at Plainfield East High School. Become a member, and you will be in the "loop" of what is going on! Check out our web page, get on our e-mail list for updates, be part of the action by volunteering to help out.

Our meetings are the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Plainfield East High School Media Center and last around one hour.
We are proud to present a list of accomplishments our Athletic Booster Club has achieved over the past 3 years for our school, our athletes and our community:

- 2 PEHS Bengal Flags
- Side Board Controller for main gym scoreboard
- Stuffed Ty Bengals for Spiritwear Sales
- Track and Field Training Tapes
- Weight Room equipment
- Conference Signage for Main Gym
- Provided Audio/Video Equipment for Coaches and Athletes
- Built 2 Ticket Booths for Outdoor Stadium
- Additional Weight Room Equipment over $4000
- Software packages for coaches
- Concussion Software for use by the training staff for injury analysis
- 2010-11 dispersed over $4700 back to the sports teams from concession revenue
- 2011 provided funds for Outside Pressbox "Bengal" Signage
Everyone can be a Booster. Booster is simply an enthusiastic supporter of PEHS sports programs. This support can be manifested in many ways -- by becoming a member of our Booster committees, by volunteering to work during sports events, by being a team parent or representative, through financial support, or by simply attending sports events to support our athletes. Please consider volunteering for any of our Booster Club activities, for concessions staff, for Fund raising activities throughout the year.
