Highlights of our Bengal Student Athletes at the Next Levels
2011 School Year Acomplishments
- Austin Robinson, Jawan Straughter, and Robert Allen qualified for the Country Companies Regional Basketball Competition with Jawan moving on to the Sectional Finals and a chance to qualify for State

- Zak Natsuta was the May 2011 Triblocal Player of the Month with $500.00 coming to Plainfield East Athletics. Way to go Zak!
- Mike Simpson and Zak Natsuta were Herald News All Area Players of Year for Bengal Volleyball
2010 School Year Accomplishments
- Niko Petruisch- He qualified in 2010 for the State Cross Country Meet as the first qualifier in the program's history, and the 2nd for the school. Niko took 98th place out of 208 finishers. The boy's team qualified for sectionals, which is also a first for the program.
- Cindy Vasquez and Hannah Gutierrez- These females became the first cross-country runners to qualify for sectionals. Cindy also finished in the top 14 of the conference, which gace her all-conference honors.
2009 School Year Accomplishments
- Justin Brendl- He repeated qualifying for the State Track competition in the 100 and 200 events. He was the first state qualifier for Plainfield East in 2008
